Photography essay

I arrived here in January and from the beginning I had the idea of ​​choosing the photography course. I wanted to try something I couldn't study in Italy and at the same time I wanted to get closer to this world. When I arrived I was not clear on the concept of taking a photo, I thought it was enough to take the phone or camera and press a button. Instead, I discovered that behind a photo there is much more work than I thought. From today onwards, when I take a photograph, I will certainly pay more attention to the light, the perspective and the concept I want to express with photography. I don't know if in the future I will consider the idea of ​​continuing my journey with photography but surely it is an experience that I will take with me as it has taught me that photography is not something to be taken lightly because it's a beautiful art. Reflection photography

  I took this picture at english bay during the sunset. The sun is covered by the skyscrapers so the light allows the water to reflect the environment. On the background we can see the Vancouver skyline with the city and a little bit of nature. The reflection of the water is nuanced, almost imperceptible. the city is covered by the Golden light which gives to the picture a romantic tone.

Macro photography assignment

  I took this picture during spring break at Stanley park. The rabbit is showing the back but at the same time the face. Since the main idea of Marco Photography is taking close-up photography of real objects and give a life like size to something small but even to make small details of every life object become clearer and more visible. In other words it sharps the image so that it can illustrate something that was not otherwise visible to the human sight.

Double colour exposure assignment

The image I chose represents me watching the sea while I am sitting on a rock. The light is in front of me so I took the picture from behind. The other picture represents me watching  the camera. The colour I decided to put in evidence is green because it reminds the idea of the nature I was into. The sea in the background looks more alive and same are the mountain and the clouds.

Recreate a Photo Assignment

GUITAR LESSONS 1)I found this picture online, it represents a young woman playing the guitar sitting on a chair. The paint was made by an unknown artist and now it is located into the florence art gallery of " UFFIZZI". She seems to smile to someone else, maybe his guitar teacher or someone else. I tried to replicate the picture for since I am here I am taking guitar lessons, they don't look similar but I tried to do it as similar as I can. 2) ME AND MY FRIEND  In the picture on the left me and my friend Claudia were at the Rocky mountains, almost 3 months ago. We took this picture in winter so i had long hair and we both were wearing heavy clothes. The second picture was taken 2 days ago and we were in a shop doing shopping. PROSPECTIVE

The photo presents the sun that seems to be kept in balance on one finger. The prospect makes sure that the subject seems to be close to the machine even if it is far from the photographer. The sunlight illumine the surrounding environment to such an extent that it almost cancels out the colors. The finger is slightly bent and seems to indicate that the subject is launching the sun into the sky. Around can be seen the bare trees making us guess that the photo was taken during a cold season but in the background there are trees in bloom which could mean that it is in the spring arrive.
